Being Consistent Is Not The Same As Being Perfect

As awesome and powerful as consistency is, there’s a mental trap about this life changing power that you must avoid to get the most out of it.

The trap: Thinking you must be perfect versus being consistent.

I’ve fallen into this trap many times in the past when dieting. If I “fell off the bandwagon” and ate something I shouldn’t have, many times I thought the day was wasted, and proceeded to eat everything in sight the rest of the day.

Bad move. The trick is, don’t beat yourself up. Just pick yourself up, dust your clothes off, and get back on course again.
